An American woman living in Britain got a taste of what it’s like to have your freedom of speech taken away when a police officer visited her house to interrogate her over a Facebook post that he claimed had “upset someone.”
Yes, really. The officer demanded that she apologise about the post, without informing her what the post was about or who she was supposed to apologise to.
The Free Speech Union posted the remarkable video filmed by the woman herself, and has more…
???BREAKING: An American cancer patient and Trump supporter was confronted by British police and told to apologise for her online posts or face an investigation.

Deborah Anderson, a mother of two, was visited at her home in June by an officer from Thames Valley Police. He… pic.twitter.com/CaQZVUScQY
He told her someone had lodged a complaint about her social media posts. She told him she was an American citizen and a member of the Free Speech Union and he should be investigating burglaries and rapes, not hurty words on social media.
Chillingly, he told her he was there to get her to apologise to the person who was offended by her posts. If she refused, she’d be questioned down at the station.
What was Deborah’s supposed crime? The policeman didn’t tell her. Was it her passionate support of President Trump and the MAGA movement on her Facebook and X pages?
To make it worse, Deborah is in the midst of cancer treatment, including chemotherapy. She ought to be have been convalescing. Instead, she was harassed for her tweets.
The FSU took on her case and, as a result, the police have now dropped their investigation. But they still haven’t told Deborah which of her posts got her into trouble, claiming they’ve accidentally deleted the record of the complaint.
Thames Valley Police are responsible for guarding President Trump this week. What would he make of the fact that those same officers are visiting the homes of his supporters – including US citizens – and threatening them with arrest.
Tyrant: "We are investigating your potential commission of thought crime?"

You: "What was the thought?"
Tyrant: "I am not at liberty to say. Are you going to apologize or what?"
You: "…" pic.twitter.com/EF2Gvu5HOX
Mrs Anderson rightly pointed out that while this officer was interrogating her, actual crimes are going uninvestigated, prompting the officer to state that it’s not his responsibility to do that “today.”
How do plod even take themselves seriously if they think this constitutes law enforcement?

Disturbing, but not surprising in the least considering the state of the UK.
Thames Valley Police responded to the incident, claiming they are duty bound to follow up “on allegations of threats or violence”
This video shows one of our officers following up on a report from a person who felt threatened by online comments directed at them.
— Thames Valley Police (@ThamesVP) September 18, 2025
After engagement with both parties, no further action was taken. It is our duty to respond to allegations of threats or violence.
That just made people more angry…
You're not police, your bullies picking on average people who have expressed opinions because your too cowardly and useless to do your actual job of going after criminals. You and all your officers should apologizing to your citizens for your bullying and threatening them them.…
— Techie Photographer (@AspexPhoto) September 18, 2025
The statement from your officer" "the alternative [to the provision of an apology] would be that I have to call you in for an interview" was nonsense, then.
— Ron Good (@rdgrongoodnet1) September 18, 2025
It was an expressed threat to induce capitulation.
What makes that acceptable in this case?
The video shows a policeman asking a citizen to apologize to another person because their feeling were hurt as if he was a parent.

One would assume all other crimes in Thames have been in order to allow for this level of free time, yes?
We know what you're doing, it's despicable. So you prioritise visiting a cancer patient for saying "mean words" rather than investigate burglary, murders, r*pes, which are "going on as well" as your officer so condescendingly put it, disgusting

I’m offended

Don’t let the police into your home unless they have a warrant. Don’t let them sit down on your chair. Stop engaging with them entirely. Say nothing. If they insist then arrange a meeting with a lawyer at a police station. This is just harassment

You are getting exercised over what is very, very normal in the UK. Newsflash: In the UK, the law rests on what a “reasonable person” would do. If you live in the UK, you are supposed to absorb what a “reasonable person” does. I’m not saying this is marvellous, especially when you are talking about a charge of harassment or malicious communications, when some people may be genuinely confused about what the hell they did wrong, and it could be very debatable whether they did anything wrong. But look at it this way: the alternative is the American system, where the director of the CDC gets interrogated about doing his job properly during a pandemic, as if he had done something wrong. At the end of the day, this woman is complaining about being told that she is supposed to be able to reason by herself, when in her own country, she would be told to learn to kiss the boots of the nearest authority, and call that “free speech”.
She should never have gone to the UK when she could have gone to a better third world nation where people have more freedom. At this point, Haiti is an option preferable to the UK. And if the cancer that she has is being treated by UK healthcare providers, she doesn’t have a chance of survival.
Cuckold LEOs, will answer to the people, who’s will, they perverted.
And IF, they get off this rock scot free, They can explain their bad behavior to God Jehovah/Yahweh, before He passes them off to Satan.
“… without informing her what the post was about …” is misleading at best – check the video at 53 seconds in, the officer asks if she’d like a look at the comment, and she declines, stating that she knows exactly the things she’s said. Now, I think the Brits are getting it way wrong and officer Putz is out of line – but so are reporters who intentionally, negligently, or carelessly misrepresent the facts.
It sounds like they have democrat policemen.
This makes me want to start a social media account claiming to be from some made up address in Europe somewhere and write racist shit from the USA. Then they can get mad but can’t do anything.
Unless you wanna track me down to my house. I’ll fill your ass with American lead.
Hey Europe! Grow some balls! Big hairy ones.
Won’t identify who was “offended”. Won’t identify what post “offended” somebody. That means it’s some LGBTQueer-mutant who was offended … or possibly some darkie from a dark and/or sandy desert land. Perhaps it was a darkie thief who habitually helps themselves to whatever is on the shelf?
If my local police officer pulled that crap in my living room, I’d tell him to bugger off … right NOW … before I sue him PERSONALLY for harassment of normies.
