Trump Still Has Control Of National Guard In LA: Court Blocks Restraining Order

Major leftist mobilisation planned for Saturday…

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has granted an administrative stay allowing President Trump to keep the National Guard deployed in Los Angeles, but only for the time being.

California Governor Gavin Newsom got a Clinton appointed district judge to grant a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) which would have returned control of the National Guard back to California, and still may.

Judge Charles Breyer called Trump’s actions “illegal” in a 36-page order, noting “At this early stage of the proceedings, the Court must determine whether the President followed the congressionally mandated procedure for his actions. He did not.”

“His actions were illegal — both exceeding the scope of his statutory authority and violating the Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution,” Breyer further proclaimed. Adding “He must therefore return control of the California National Guard to the Governor of the State of California forthwith.”

The Trump Administration appealed the decision to the Ninth Circuit Court. A three-judge panel consisting of Trump appointed Mark Bennet and Eric Miller and Biden appointed Jennifer Sung immediately sided with Trump and granted the administrative stay.

This means Trump retains control of deployment of the Guard in LA.

A hearing is set for June 17, which almost certainly means the Guard get to stay in place over the weekend, which is set to be chaotic with leftist mobilisations planned.

The past couple of evenings in LA have been less… fiery purely because the Guard is in place.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt noted Thursday that people are beginning to be arrested for aiding the unrest.

The FBI arrested the guy who was seen handing out riot masks in LA, and investigations are underway to determine who is funding the uprising.

As we highlighted yesterday, there appears to be a massive coordinated and funded effort to get online influencers to rally anti ICE sentiment and encourage leftists to oppose the efforts to enforce immigration law.

Influencers also claim they’ve been offered cash to turn up at so called ‘No Kings’ mobilisations this weekend, which are being organised by a slew of non-profits and taxpayer funded unions.

One group called Operation Healthy Hearts, which typically focuses on aiding the homeless, has decided to start handing out packages that include goggles, face masks, gloves, and a phone number for “jail support.”

They’re calling them ‘Fuck ICE kits’.

President Trump was asked to comment on the ‘No Kings’ events and stated “I don’t feel like a king. I have to go through HELL to get stuff approved.”

“A king would say, ‘I’m not going to get this.’ A king would never have the California mandate to be talking about,” he continued.

“He wouldn’t have to call up [Speaker of the House] Mike Johnson and [Senate Majority Leader John] Thune and say ‘fellas, you got to pull this off and after years get it done,” Trump further quipped.

“No, no, we are not a king. We’re not a king at all.” Trump concluded, hilariously trolling by using the word ‘we’ like Kings do.

Trump has stated that if violence escalates this weekend, particularly at the DC Army parade, agitators will be met with “very strong force.”

  1. Gavin Newsom’s short victory lap last night was insufferable. He sounded as though HE wrote the US Constitution… and all who disagreed with him were simpleton “far right” loons, who hate “Democracy” or something. Then he blathered on about his weeping 15yo daughter who thought her daddy was going to be arrested … and how he would redeploy the Nat. Guard to hand out food for the homeless or something … gawd I hate living in THIS dystopian version of CA.
