NY Governor Apologises For Claiming Black People Don’t Know What A Computer Is

“They don’t know, they don’t know these things”

Democratic governor Kathy Hochul has had to issue an apology after she suggested that black children in New York don’t know what computers are.

Hochul was speaking Monday in California at the Milken Institute Global Conference regarding her $400 million Empire AI initiative that she claims is going to enable a more diverse workforce in tech.

The Democrat declared “Right now we have, you know, young black kids growing up in the Bronx who don’t even know what the word ‘computer’ is.”

“They don’t know, they don’t know these things. And I want the world opened up to all of them,” she added.

Ooof that’s a tad racist, no?

After massive backlash, Hochul tried to walk back the remarks, stating “I misspoke and I regret it. Of course, Black children in the Bronx know what computers are.”

Too late racist.

Expect a few George Floyd statues to be commissioned in New York soon.

  2. Here is the basic rule:

If you are the person who brings race into a discussion, the you are the racist.

  3. Typical of how the left view black people. As incompetent and incapable of navigating everyday life without their help.
