Former CNN host Chris Cuomo says Donald Trump will win the election and that he’s never seen as much energy behind a candidate, even more so than Obama in 2008.
Cuomo made the comments during an appearance on the Patrick Bet-David podcast.
“You know this guy’s gonna win by the way, this guy’s gonna win,” said Cuomo.
“I’ve never seen people behind someone like this before, I’ve never been to rallies like that before, for anyone, even Obama didn’t have rallies like that,” he added.
That’s quite the statement from someone who during his time with CNN was probably one of Trump’s most ardent detractors.
Cuomo previously stated that he would even consider voting for Trump given what has happened to America under Joe Biden.
“If it’s Biden-Trump, look, for me—again, we survived a Trump administration. Would we survive another one? Yes, yes,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden. And for people who are now gonna attack me and say, ‘What are you talking about? Trump is, like, this crazy man,’ look, you know, as Patrick says, the data’s the data. Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was president in a way that they’re not now.”
Yesterday, many people were shocked to see Cuomo make an appearance with Tucker Carlson, with the former Fox News host saying he had spoken a lot with his former nemesis after being given the boot by the network.
